* libflashrom: Add flags to skip unreadable and unwritable regionsNikolai Artemiev2022-12-181-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add flags to allow libflashrom users to configure how operations that include unreadable or unwritable regions should be behave. If the flags are set to true, a read/write operation will just skip the inaccessible region and will still be executed in other regions. If the flags are set to false, the inaccessible region will cause the entire operation to fail. | | | | | | | | | | | | | Perform the check right in read_wp_bits() as it's used by various WP operations and also because its results won't make sense if WPS bit is on and can't be changed. * libflashrom: Return progress state to the library userRichard Hughes2022-05-251-1/+28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Projects using libflashrom like fwupd expect the user to wait for the operation to complete. To avoid the user thinking the process has "hung" or "got stuck" report back the progress complete of the erase, write and read operations. Add a new --progress flag to the CLI to report progress of operations. Include a test for the dummy spi25 device. * libflashrom: Move documentation to headerEvan Benn2022-05-061-40/+437
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The doxygen documentation was in the libflashrom.c file. Move the documentation to the libflashrom.h file. This allows foreign function interface binding generators (eg rust bindgen) that operate on the .h file to generate documentation for the target language. Some doxygen errors were also corrected, mostly undocumented or wrongly labeled parameters. To test, I have diffed and inspected the doxygen documentation before and after the change. All functions are documented the same, and the structs and enums are now also included in the docs.
