| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ATB DTB mangle code will enter an infinite loop if it encounters a word in the command line that contains an r in the middle of the word. Fix this by increasing ptr everytime before invoking strchr, ot avoid finding the same r again. This fixes booting at least on Netgear R7500v1, which contains "ubi.mtd=rootfs" in its commandline, triggering the misbehaviour. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The command-line arguments provided by the boot loader will be appended to a new device tree property: bootloader-args. If there is a property "append-rootblock" in DT under /chosen and a root= option in bootloaders command line it will be parsed and added to DT bootargs with the form: <append-rootblock>XX. Only command line ATAG will be processed, the rest of the ATAGs sent by bootloader will be ignored. In order to test this, we can use the below steps: a. Flash the ubi image on board and don't reset the board b. load the kernel fit image in RAM and boot from there.
