From c7c4ae35d6e9b53e2c66da7d6eadc9d77d64ed60 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Rafa=C5=82=20Mi=C5=82ecki?= Date: Fri, 9 Nov 2018 14:57:45 +0100 Subject: kernel: deprecate support for the generic "linux,part-probe" DT binding MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit It has been rejected upstream and instead a nice/more generic solution has been implemented. It's possible now to describe partitions format using "compatible" DT string. No OpenWrt target uses "linux,part-probe" anymore, leave it only in case some forks need it. It will be dropped with support for new kernels.
