* brcm47xx: rename target to bcm47xxAdrian Schmutzler2020-02-1417-317/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This change makes the names of Broadcom targets consistent by using the common notation based on SoC/CPU ID (which is used internally anyway), bcmXXXX instead of brcmXXXX. This is even used for target TITLE in make menuconfig already, only the short target name used brcm so far. Signed-off-by: Adrian Schmutzler <freifunk@adrianschmutzler.de>
* treewide: use wpad-basic for not small flash targetsMathias Kresin2018-10-1610-9/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add out of the box support for 802.11r and 802.11w to all targets not suffering from small flash. Signed-off-by: Mathias Kresin <dev@kresin.me> Mathias did all the heavy lifting on this, but I'm the one who should get shouted at for committing. * brcm47xx: drop some personal profilesRafał Miłecki2017-01-042-33/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | WL500GPv1 profile included ath5k which made it usable only for people who decided to replace default BCM4318 card with Atheros one. We can't have profile for every possible configuration. If someone adjusts hw in such a way he can always install a proper package. WRTSL54GS profile got extra packages for a specific USB usage. Our standard profile provides basic USB and we should stick to this. We can't make everyone happy by including packages for all common USB use cases and all common filesystems. * brcm47xx: generic: drop standalone profiles duplicating device onesRafał Miłecki2017-01-042-33/+0
| | | | | | We have identical profiles for these devices thanks to DEVICE_PACKAGES. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl>

* brcm47xx: activate some compiler optimizations for 74K CPUsHauke Mehrtens2014-06-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | With this patch the mips74k subtarget will be compiled with optimized compiler options to generated smaller and faster code. This currently breaks broadcom-wl, because the binary blob is only compiled with mipsr1 support. Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de> SVN-Revision: 41050
* brcm47xx: move current target to "generic" subtargetHauke Mehrtens2014-06-0521-0/+380
This allows creating more subtargets and optimize builds per family. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <zajec5@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de> SVN-Revision: 41024
